Jay Silver, Vice President of Leasing in our Long Island office, is a 22-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry in both the Long island and New York City markets. Jay began his career at Studley and spent the last 13 years at Real Estate Strategies, Ltd., specializing in landlord and tenant representation. Jay’s keen insight into the complexities of the New York market offers his clients a 360 degree perspective on commercial real estate, maximizing the value of an owner’s property or directing a new prospect to the best possible space.

Jay has represented an impressive array of clients including the New York State Department of Education, Southern Wine and Spirits, John Hancock, FEGS, Celino and Barnes, Israeloff and Trattner, and Harrison Leifer DiMarco. His leasing agencies include the marketing, leasing and sale of 560 Broadhollow Road, Melville, NY and 1025 Old Country Road, Westbury, NY where he was responsible for 150,000 square feet of new leases for the property.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Jay is the proud Father of triplets and lives in Long Island. He is very active in the community and responsible for raising funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association Summer Camp Programs. Jay holds a B.S. in Finance from George Washington University.
